be动词的形式不同：
1、am是动词be的第一人称形式。
如：I am filled with the desire to go back home.

2、are是系动词be的现在时、用于第二人称或复数。
如：There are enough people to do the job.

3、is是be的第三人称单数一般现在时。

1、is的过去式是was。
